Robert J. Riggatire

1948 - 2025

Robert Joseph Riggatire, 76, of Leechburg, passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Natrona Heights on Dec. 31, 1948, a son of the late Lillie A. (Cressler) and Joseph Riggatire. Robert was a graduate of Freeport High School. He was a proud U.S. Marine Corps. veteran. He was a member of Alive Community Church, American Legion, and VFW. Robert enjoyed camping and fishing and loved to garden. Spending time with his family was his favorite pastime, and he was a man of great faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Coralee (Andrews) Riggatire; a daughter, Lori (Tony Tetzlaw) Riggatire, of Gibsonia; two sons, Jeff (Maribel) Riggatire, of Santa Paula, CA, and Mark (Tammi) Riggatire, of Grove City; grandchildren, Robert Riggatire, Brady Loughner, Sarah Tetzlaw, Angel Riggatire, Audrirose Riggatire, Andrew Riggatire, and Sandra Riggatire; and great-grandchildren, Dominic and Paxtyn Oglivie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Riggatire; brother, Gregory L. Riggatire; sister, Barbara Belli; and half brother, Dee Charles Riggatire. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Alive Community Church, 106 N. Pike Road, Sarver, with Pastor Dave Roddy officiating. A funeral luncheon will follow for immediate family only. Private interment with military honors conducted by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard was held at Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
