Rinearson, Robert Morris– Robert "Rino" was born in Knoxville, TN on May 23, 1964, and passed away on June 7, 2022, at his home in Tequesta, FL. He was the son of Robert and Mary Ann Rinearson. Robert spent his childhood in Knoxville, where he attended Bearden High School with lifelong friends who to him were as close as family. Robert then graduated from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences.
Robert's life led him to South Florida where he would start a software company, Radius Data, that combined his love of computers with his knowledge of environmental sciences to produce geographic data analysis for corporations that was truly ahead of its time. He and his business partner, Jennifer Kearney, lead the company to success where it was eventually acquired and allowed Robert to take on investing as his next endeavor. Robert's nose for emerging technologies led him to much success in the investing world. Outside of business, he was a lifelong supporter of the Vols, attending football games whenever he had the chance. Robert enjoyed traveling, spending time with his boys, and jumping jet skis on the intracoastal waterway. He imparted on his sons hard-learned wisdom that will help them navigate the world for their years to come.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert, in 2002. He is survived by his two sons, Robert, Jr. and William, his mother, Mary Ann Rinearson, sister, Leigh Rinearson, and many other relatives.
On Saturday, June 18th at 2:30 PM, a memorial service will be held at St. John's Cathedral, 413 West Cumberland Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37902, with a receiving of friends following the service. Memorials in remembrance of Robert can be made to St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, PO Box 153, Knoxville, TN 37901, or a charity of your choice. Online condolences at www.rosefuneraltn.com
