Robert "Robby" Gene Laughery forever 26, lost his battle with the devil on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. The light of an intelligent, fun, free spirit was extinguished from us by a senseless drug.
Robby was born in Beckley, WV on March 10, 1998, the youngest son of Linda and Monie Laughery.
Robby was the happiest when he was with his family most importantly his beloved 10 year old son Mycah Jayce Laughery. His favorite family times were spent on the motorcross track where he never missed the chance to cheer on his son. He also enjoyed boxing, hunting, and fishing.
Walking beside him in Heaven is his "granny" whom he loved so much; paw paw, Gene; Uncle, Mike Laughery; and cousins, Jeremy and Jason Rinehart.
He is looking down and protecting his parents; brother, Shawn Laughery wife Brittany Rice; sister, Christa Laughery husband, Willie Harvey; son, Mycah Laughery; grandma Kitty' grandpa, Les; his nieces and nephews that he thought were the coolest kids on the block. Nevaeh, Kyson, Atlas, Isabella, and Zayden. Numerous other family and friends who loved him dearly.
The Stigma over your head did not define you and if love could've save you, you would've lived forever.
Visitation for friends will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. Following the visitation Robby will be cremated.
