Robert (Bob) D. Rorick, went home to be with the Lord on November 19, 2023. Bob was born on October 19, 1932. He was raised in Iowa, his father a farmer. He graduated high school from Davenport, Iowa. He served in the US Army from 1950 -1953 in the Korean War as an artillery Non-commissioned officer. After discharge he returned to Iowa and worked in his father's garage doing car and tractor repair. In 1954 he met and married Emma Lou Lindor. They were married for twenty years from 1954 till the time of Emma's going to be with Jesus in 1974. They had three children, Patti Price, her husband Fred, Nancy Watson and her husband Max, and Robert (Jack) Rorick and his wife Becky.

In 1975 Bob found love again and married Mary J. Holtham. They merged their family living in Southern California teaching them the importance of putting Jesus Christ first in all that they did. Mary also had three children, Lori, Cristi, and Jeff. Bob worked hard as a plant manager and had a very successful career in manufacturing of aluminum and metal products. While his wife Mary worked in telecommunications at a local hospital.

After all the children had moved away starting families of their own, Bob and Mary moved to Tennessee where they eventually retired in Mount Juliet. You could find Bob doing one of five things:

1. Cutting grass, not really work, to him it was fun.

2. Fishing on his boat also known as the fishing barge. He loved those cat fish which he made many of meals out of.

3. Fixing and repairing items his wife found at yard sales.

4. Telling stories of the good ole days growing up on the farm in Iowa.

5. Doing things for his neighbors and friends. You could always find him at a neighbor's house helping repair their boat dock, lawn equipment or cutting down a tree with his favorite power tool, the chain saw.
