Robert Roth Obituary
Robert H. Roth, 78, of South Canaan passed away Thursday night, December 19, 2024 at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart.
Born August 5, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Henry and Anna (Kozakevitch) Roth.
Robert was a faithful and devoted member of St. Tikhon's Orthodox Church. He chose to reside in this area to be close to the monastery which was a place that he cherished. Robert will be remembered for his kindness and generosity which was extended to everyone he met. He found fulfillment in sharing with others what God had blessed him with. Robert enjoyed serving the monastery and seminary community, especially in the library at St. Tikhon's. His family and the local community treasures Robert's memory and is grateful to recall his selfless, Christ-like love that flowed from him each and every day.
He is survived by his brother, Gregory Roth; and his niece, Barbara Carannante both of Buford, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 12:00 Noon in St. Tikhon's Monastery Church, 175 St. Tikhon's Road, Waymart, PA 18472.
Interment will follow in St. Tikhon's Monastery Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to St. Tikhon's Monastery, 175 St. Tikhon's Road, Waymart, PA 18472.
