Robert A. Rozoff, age 67 and resident of Manitowoc, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. His loving family was by his side, helping him make the transition to his heavenly home.
Bob was born on September 30, 1956, in Youngstown, OH. He was the third son of the late Walter and Flora (Provencher) Rozoff. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, graduating from high school and receiving his degree in TV and Film Production from College of DuPage. Bob was a gifted videographer and television producer/director. In addition to Discover Wisconsin episodes, he also collaborated with Oneida Nation elders on oral story film projects.
On July 24, 1976, Bob married the love of his life, Margaret "Peggy" Stoner, in Elmhurst, IL. Bob and Peggy relocated to the Manitowoc area in 2007 to enjoy Lake Michigan's calm vistas.
He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish in Two Rivers. His faith was steadfast and inspiring. Bob was also a musician - moved by the art of harmonies, lyrics, and intricate instrumental compositions - and he was a skilled guitar player. He also loved the outdoors and passed that love on to his sons and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Rozoff, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Chris Rozoff (Jill Schaefer), Erie, CO, and Timothy (Sara) Rozoff, Green Bay; two grandchildren: Walter and Amelia Rozoff, Green Bay; mother-in-law: Dorothy Stoner; one sister and brother-in-law: Mary (Mike) Howat; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Richard Rozoff, Thomas Rozoff, James (Laura) Rozoff and Cindy Stoner. He has many cherished nieces, nephews, extended Canadian family members, and dear friends and colleagues who will sorely miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Flora Rozoff; his father-in-law: Ralph Stoner; and a sister-in-law: Barb Stoner.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, 3201 Mishicot Rd, Two Rivers. Rev. David Pleier will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Bob's cremated remains will be interred afterward at the Calvary Cemetery in Manitowoc.
Relatives and friends are also welcome to join the family at the Pfeffer Funeral Home to share stories and offer their loving support on Sunday, December 10, 2023, 4:00-7:00 p.m., and on Monday at the church, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
The Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer location is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.lakeshorefamilyfuneralhomes.com.
Bob suffered from Long COVID and was an advocate of related medical research breakthroughs. Recently, he found a meaningful calling helping other people suffering from chronic and disabling illnesses. As such, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Long COVID Families
