Robert O. Ruff

Robert Owen Ruff died September 14, 2025. He was born April 16, 1932 in Cincinnati Ohio. Married for 60 years to Jo Ann, who passed away in May of this year, they built a life together which included two children, Joel and Emily, and four grandchildren, Tyler, Kate, Bruce and Christopher. After graduating from University of Cincinnati with a degree in Industrial Design, he transitioned from co-op to full time employee at Steelcraft in Blue Ash. Bob spent more than 40 years at Steelcraft and had 15 patents awarded during this time. Having a talent for anything mechanical, Bob restored many antique cars,and enjoyed working on his 100 year old house. After retirement, he started buying and refinishing old furniture which he then resold with much success. Jo Ann and Bob were active in the Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church for many years. A memorial service is planned for 10:30am, Saturday, October 4th at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church, 5950 Montgomery Road. There will be a visitation beforehand starting at 10:00.
