Robert Rung Obituary
Robert was a hardworking man who spent many years as an ironworker, a trade that reflected his strength, dedication, and pride in honest work. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
In his quieter moments, Robert found joy in collecting beer steins and antiques, and he had a deep love for old movies-especially the classics that never seemed to lose their charm. These simple pleasures brought him comfort and connection throughout his life.
He will be remembered for his resilience, his loyalty to those he cared about, and the memories he leaves behind with family and friends.
There will be a graveside service Monday, February 9, 2026 at 10:30 am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on behalf of Robert Rung to American Heart Association.
