We have extremely fond memories spending time on the baseball fields with your family and Bob was one of the biggest supporters and fans of the whole experience in those years. He was always very positive for all the boys and exceptionally proud of Pat and Kat. I met Bob through my Uncle John. He treated me like his own nephew right away. We felt like family when we were all together. I could not have asked for a better friend than I had with Bob. So many GREAT times and memories. Always there with an open ear, a fun story and plenty of gems. You are the best Bobby, and I will miss our text/phone calls during Pats games and Bruins playoffs. I still feel like I just want to pick up the phone and call. So many talks. Thank you Bob for being a true friend and brother. I am going to miss you. Cheers

Shocked to hear this devastating news, my condolences to Patrick Katherine and family. Mr. Ryan was a major roll model in my life, being best friends with his son Patrick for most of my life through hockey and school. He will be greatly missed.

Bob, I can't believe you are gone. Talked Friday and everything was great looking forward to the weekend. Hard to swallow you are not here at work. Everyone at BU is shocked and very sad. You touched a lot of lives with your good nature and never ending smile. You will truly be missed.

So sad to hear about Bob's passing. He was a great friend, we would always chat about the Bruins and the Patriots. I travelled from Canada to watch a few patriots games with him and tail gate. He was such a great guy, he will be missed.

To the Ryan family,
We are so sorry to hear of Bob's sudden passing. There are no words that can describe the loss of one so dear to so many. Bob's passion for his family, for his friends, and for the outdoors are all part of his gift to us and the legacy of memories we have of him. Until we get to see his smile again, hear his laugh again, we hope that he is somewhere in a better place with his son and his father awaiting a time when we can all be together.
