Robert J. Seibert

Robert J. Seibert, 90, of Allentown, passed away on March 23, 2026 at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Donna (Wentz) Seibert and the late Barbara (Frantz) Seibert. Robert was a lathe operator at the #8 Machine Shop at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. from 1964 until retiring in 1997. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Howard T. and Geraldine (Collette) Seibert. Robert was a 1953 graduate of Allentown High School and he was a member of the USWA Local #2599. He was a life member, past board member and past secretary of the Hogan's Social Club, Allentown. He was a life member of the Franklin Social Club and the Cross Keys Social Club, Allentown. Since 2001 he was a volunteer at the Phoebe Home, Allentown and in 2015 he was awarded the Unsung Hero from Lehigh County Area on Aging. Robert was a Peacetime U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Faith Church, Allentown.

Survivors: Wife, Son: David J. Seibert and his wife Shirley of Ringgold, GA, Step-Daughters: Lori wife of Stephen Becker of Catasauqua and Terri wife of David Ruth of Allentown, Brother: Gerald Seibert and his wife Linda of Allentown, 5 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Step Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Sons: Robert D. Seibert and Daniel R. Seibert and Siblings: James Seibert, Howard Seibert, Wayne Seibert, Patricia Janetka and Dolores Reichard.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11 A.M. at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the funeral home.
