Bob is predeceased by his parents and a brother, James Edmund "Jimmy" Sharpe.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda (Hinson); daughter, Donna Prevatte; grandchildren, Michele (Jason) Fowler and Nickolas (Julie) Prevatte; granddog, Cocoa; great-grandchildren, Noah and Maelynn; siblings: Vikki Allen, Teresa (Charles) Seibert, Alice (Steven) Douglas, Chris (Liz) Sharpe, Billy Sharpe and numerous nieces and nephews, who thought "Uncle Bob" was the greatest.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, 11AM at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Columbia, SC, with the burial to follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens, West Columbia, SC. The visitation for friends and family will take place on Thursday, June 13 from 5-7PM. Please note that at St. Timothy's, there will be additional parking on the corner of Laurel and Lincoln St.
Memorials may be given to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church Remembrance Fund.
