Robert Sherman, 47, of Newport, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at home.
Robert loved his job roofing houses, especially while working for his good and long-time friend, Gilbert Paco Burns. He had a lot of friends, and every one of them would tell you his two favorite things to do were talking to friends and drinking beer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sherman; mother, Pamela Ipock; and step father, Russell "Sug" Ipock.
He is survived by his grandmother, Charlotte Sherman; brothers, Doug Sherman, Rusty Ipock, and Travis Ipock; sisters, Mary Slaughter and Tammy Ipock Kiraly; as well as his aunt, Bernice Barrett and cousins, Alana Fitzula and Bobby Bickford.
His smile and love of conversation will be missed.
