Robert S. Simpkin

Robert Stanley Simpkin, 81, of Neptune, passed away Saturday January 18th 2025 at home. He was born and raised in Freehold. He graduated from Freehold High School, Georgian Court, and Thomas Edison University. After serving in the US Army, he worked at Fort Monmouth in Eatontown where he met his wife of almost 40 years. He worked at Fort Monmouth for 30 years as a computer programmer. He was a member of the American Legion and The Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. His proudest accomplishment was being a father and Pop-Pop.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Theresa Simpkin, his brothers William and Charles, and his wife Roberta of 39 years.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law Susan and Kent Joseph, his grandsons Kayshawn and Kylar, his granddaughters Khloe and Kaylee, his brother Richard, and his sisters Elizabeth and Joyce.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Innocents in Neptune on Saturday February 8th at 10am followed by an Interment at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls.
