Robert Smith Obituary
Robert Smith, age 54, of Whitley City, KY., passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Robert was born in Jacksonville, FL., on March 5, 1971. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cookouts, and music, but his greatest joy was spending time with his life-partner, Karen Meadows and family.
In addition to his life-partner; Karen Meadows, he is survived by his step-sons; James Strunk of Stearns, KY., Eric Strunk and wife Nequlia of Strunk, KY., and Jordan Strunk of Whitley City, KY., grandchildren; Madison, Logan, Forrest, Brauck, Keyanna and Micah, and great-grandchild; Emry.
Per Robert’s wishes, cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM, with service at 12:00 PM. Brother Tommy Tapley will be officiating.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
