Roger Alcorn Obituary
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in McCreary Memorial Gardens.
Roger was born on August 25, 1945, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to William Alcorn and Antha Perry Alcorn. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Roger was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and retired from OSHA, where he worked as an Industrial Hygienist.
In his free time, Roger enjoyed owning and working on cars-especially red ones-and was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, Marilyn Alcorn, his son, Jason Alcorn; and his brother, Stan Alcorn.
He is survived by his son, John Alcorn, along with several cousins and many friends who will mourn his passing.
