Age 83, of McCandless Township, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Marie Anthony "Toni" Smith; loving father of Robert Tynes (Laura Arcadia) Smith Jr., Bill Smith, and Tim (Michael McElmury) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Jameson Smith.
Robert was a proud U.S. Army veteran and devoted his time to volunteering at UPMC Passavant Hospital. His quiet strength, steady presence, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 am at St. Alexis Church, St. Aidan Parish,.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies of Charity, c/o St. Aidan Parish, 10090 Old Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090.

Sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. We were neighbors when I lived in Pittsburgh. The Ingomar neighbors will always carry a special memory for me. Thoughts and prayers for Toni and the boys.

Bob will be missed by so many! I will miss his chatty demeanor, his zinger jokes and his ability to make friends with anyone he encountered. Bob was an absolute character, charmer and very dear friend. I will miss seeing him every Sunday at the Log Cabin. I will miss his kind heart. Sunday mornings will never be the same without him in his designated seat at the bar. I will be pouring "a splash" for Bob this weekend and for many weekends to come. Much love to Toni and Bill and Bob Jr and Tim.
