Ray H. Anstine, 95, of Penn Hills, PA, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025. He was born on October 2, 1929 in Nezperce, Idaho. Ray was a proud graduate of the University of Idaho and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Airforce during the Korean War. Following his service, he dedicated his career to Agriculture, working for the USDA and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Ray was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia. Together, Ray and Patricia shared many decades filled with their love of animals and gardening, passions that brought them joy and fulfilment throughout their lives. He is survived by his stepchildren, Wayne Stango, Kristine Baker Nesler (Douglas) and William Kucic (Marcie) who was his best friend and caregiver. Ray and Patricia were also blessed with grandchildren, William Kucic,Steven Kucic, Sarah Kucic (Joshua), Joshua Baker (Kathrine) Elliott Baker (Amy), Jack Baker, and Andrew Nesler. In addition, four great grandchildren, Oliver, Theodore, Calvin and Everly. Ray's life will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to family, and the love he shared with those closest to him. A private family gathering will be held in his memory. In lieu of flowers , the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Ray's Honor.
