Robert Somerton Obituary
Papa Bob was loved by many and enjoyed time with his family, friends, and church. Bob was a generous, kind soul, with a passion for life. He always took each day as a gift to spend doing the things he loved. He was always there to help and lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Bob's body let him down later in life, but his spirit and drive kept him going, never missing out on the fun and excitement of the day.
We will always miss Bob, Dad, and Papa, but we had some wonderful days with the beacon of our lives. Until we see you again, we love you! Go rest high on that mountain.
A memorial service for Bob will be held at St. Andre Bessette in Ecorse, on a date to be determined this spring. Please offer your kind words and prayer at this time. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robert W. Somerton Sr., please visit our floral store.
