Robert "Bob" N. Sonnon Jr., 57, of Minersville, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born July 12, 1966, in Pottsville, he was a son of Patricia (Barnes) and Robert N. Sonnon Sr.
Bob was the husband of Kimberly M. (Jones) Sonnon.
After graduation from Pottsville High School in 1984, he enlisted in the Army.
Bob was employed at Prysmian, Schuylkill Haven.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Bob was a member of the Whippoorwill Sportsman Club.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by four sons, Jason, Matt, Josh and Ryan, and a daughter, Rachel. He is also survived by a brother, Billy, husband of Shoanna Sonnon; stepchildren, Alanis and Cassandra; and 21 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Geschwindt-Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven, with Janet Wilson officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. To extend online condolences, visit www.gsesfuneralhomes.com.
