Robert K. Sowle

SOWLE, Robert K. - Age 90, of Linden, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at Crestmont Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM  Monday, July 10, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. Margo Kivisto will officiate. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Linden United Methodist Church. Mr. Sowle was born March 18, 1916 in Sandusky, MI and lived in the Flint/Linden area for many years. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Sowle was a member of Linden United Methodist Church, American Postal Workers Union and National Assocaition of Letter Carriers. Surviving are: nephew, Michael Sowle; nieces, Martha Moore and Linda Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Bernice Sowle; brother Rex Sowle.
