Robert Spake Obituary
Mr. Robert Arthur Spake, age 88, of Bremen passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born in Bremen on August 15, 1936. Mr. Spake was the son of the late, William Arthur Spake and the late, Evelyn (Traylor) Spake. In addition to his parents, Mr. Spake is preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda (Spake) Campbell and Sharon (Spake) Perkerson.
Mr. Spake was a 1954 graduate of Bremen High School. He later, enlisted and served in the United States Army. After his time in the military, Robert began his career with West Georgia Pest Control, retiring after many years of service. When he was able, Robert loved the outdoors and enjoyed going fishing and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa (White) Holloway Spake of Bremen; his stepdaughters and their husband’s, Alice and Scott Price of Bremen and Sally and Scott Ginn of Bremen; his step-grandchildren, Liz Golden, Lee Ginn, and John Davis; one step-great-grandson, Max Golden; close cousins, Danny Rush, David Rush, Jackie Terrell, Teresa Peebles, Opal James, and a host of other relatives.
In accordance with Mr. Spake’s arrangements, he will be cremated.
The family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Temple.
