Robert "Bob" Stanley

Robert "Bob" Stanley, age 84, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born on June 15, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Everett and Katherine Stanley. He met and married his late wife Carol Stanley and raised 4 children. After Carols passing, he went on to meet and marry his current loving wife Ying Ying Lou. He was a long-time residence of Alameda County.

Bob was a retail and wholesale business owner and started his first business in 1960. He sold produce, flowers and later Christmas Trees. He loved to travel and take cruises with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ying Ying Lou; Children, Debbie (Robert) Smith, Kathy Switzer (daughters of first wife Sandra Meyer) and Bob (Sherri) Stanley Jr.; Grandchildren, Jacqueline Smith, Daniel Stanley and Katie Switzer; Brother-in-law, Jim (Peggy) Greenwell and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his late wife Carol Stanley, his parents Everett and Katherine Stanley and brothers, Doug Stanley, Everett Stanley and David Stanley.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday December 29 th, 2025 at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538 with a reception to follow. A burial will take place after the reception at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539.
