Robert Daniel Styczynski, 79, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Brighton, Michigan. Born on December 25, 1944, Robert, affectionately known as Bob, dedicated his life to his family and service to his country, marked by his time in the United States Army and Reserves. He attended Northeastern Detroit High School and furthered his education at Wayne State and Macomb Community College, building a career in logistics that reflected his organized and diligent nature. Bob was a man of deep faith, actively involved in St. Thomas, St. Raymond's, and St. Joe's Catholic Churches. His commitment to his faith was paralleled by his love for his family and a myriad of hobbies. An avid outdoorsman, Bob enjoyed fishing, boating, and country rides. Indoors, he was often found playing poker, euchre, or bowling. A true animal lover, reflected by his love for his pets.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Lee Styczynski; his children, Robert Styczynski (Jodi), Eunice Nelson (Tyler), Geri DeMars (Paul), and Deborah Score (Sal); his grandchildren, Melanie, Carol (Dan), Jonathan, Matthew (Cindy), Daniel, Brandon,
Mitchell (Janet), Blake, Garrett, Autumn, and Tyler; and his great-grandchildren, Ashley (Brian), Madison, Andrew, Evie, Gabriella, Abigail, Charlotte, Madeline, Maella, Maxon, Walton, Sebastian, and great-great-grandson, Levi. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eleanore Styczynski; his brother, Eugene Styczynski; and sister, Geraldine Lusk and Grandson, Tyler Jr.
Services to honor Bob's life will be held with a visitation at Frazer Funeral Home, 21001 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon, Michigan, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
