Robert Tagliareni Obituary

He spent his career as an entrepreneur developing a series of different businesses through his life. His passion, however, was an interesting one he was a member of (NHRA) National Hot Rod Association. He competed Professional Drag Racing, all across the country, taking the run times for 1/4 mile at 210 miles per hour. In his much younger years, he was the Lead Singer for the 70's band the "Tattoo" performing once again all across the country.
Robert is survived by his wife Maria (Cupo), his sons Robert Jr. and Justin.
Family will receive friends Thursday April 11th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Prayer Service at the Funeral Home will begin at 1:00pm thereafter an Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Memorial donations in Robert's name to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090 or the Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306

I worked for Bob for 18 years. He loved Maria, Justin and Robby even more. He was a kind and understanding boss. I often had to bring my kids to work and he had no problem with that.. When I told my son that Bob had passed his first memory was "oh wow!! He used to let me watch sponge bob on his couch while trying to run 2 businesses at one time" .. He was a great man, boss and friend... He will truly be missed. They don´t make them like him anymore.. A great man gone way too young

I worked for Bob and Maria when I did real estate for Cupo, Tag and Villegas. He and Maria were extremely kind to me. A great loss. My condolences.

I remember Bobby Tag, he worked at the box company making boxes with his dad in JC on Wayne St. His Gf then Maria, wanted him to be like her older brother and get into real estate. John brought him on as a partner they had Cupo/Tag reality. Major players in Jersey city Bayonne. Saw the signs everywhere. To think going from boxes to real estate.
