It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Wesley Thomas, who left this world on July 21, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on June 1, 1956, in Orange, California, Robert spent much of his life in Paragould, Arkansas.
Robert served in the United States Marines Corps, a testament to his dedication and service to his country. After his military time, he explored various jobs. Beyond his career, Robert was a man of simple pleasures. He cherished the time spent with his beloved wife, Lucy, often bringing a book along on fishing trips together. He had a knack for storytelling, always engaging friends and family in meaningful conversations while keeping up with the latest on his computer.
Robert was a man of faith and attended several churches over the years including: Apostolic Church in Leachville with Pastor Randy Huddleston, Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Paragould with Pastor Jason Adams, and River of Life Church with Pastor Bryce Smithee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Bella Thomas.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lucy, whose companionship meant the world to him.
As we honor his life, a memorial service will take place at The Apostolic Lighthouse Church on July 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating Robert's remarkable life and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
