Robert L Trotter Sr.

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Robert L. Trotter Sr. passed away at age 82.
Robert was born on September 27, 1942, in Van Buren, AR, to Earnest and Viola Trotter. Robert was married to the love of his life, Bobbi June Brown, for 30 years, and together they had three children, five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Robert lived with his oldest daughter, Kim, and her husband, Jeff Bogan, in Lowell, AR. His son, Beau, preceded him in death at the age of 50, and his youngest daughter, Pam, lives in Oklahoma.
Robert accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1996 and was a devoted member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Rogers, AR.
He was a steady and loving presence in the lives of his two daughters, Kimmie Bogan and Pamela Trotter - always offering guidance, encouragement, and unconditional support.
Throughout his 82 years, Robert touched and influenced many lives, including his sister Margarette Walker, with whom he shared morning coffee almost every day, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
He was a man who loved to tell stories that made you laugh. He loved to travel, believed in working hard, loving deeply, and living simply.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held on May 10th, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 1001 W. Price Ln, Rogers, AR 72758.
Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice knowing he has finished his race and is home with his Savior. As Scripture reminds us: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7)
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
