Robert "Bob" C. Ulrich, 92, of Neenah, Wisconsin, passed away on December 5, 2024. Born November 11, 1932, in Neenah, he was the son of Robert and Grace (Kloepfel) Ulrich.
Bob married his high school sweetheart, Mae Whitney on November 15th, 1952, and together they shared 62 years together until she passed in 2014. She was the love of his life and he mourned her passing every day. Together they had two children, Robert and Brenda. Bob and Mae were members of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Neenah.
Bob was a graduate of Neenah High School, Class of 1951. He began working in the family business, Ulrich Construction, while still in high school. After graduation he joined the family business working along side his dad, Bob, and his brother, Bill. Bob absolutely loved his time with the construction company and often shared stories of those days.
After retiring from the business he was able to focus more on his passion of building furniture. With the help of his family and neighbors, Bob was able to live independently with his beloved cat, Gustaf, and he continued to create his one of a kind pieces up until just weeks before his passing.
Bob is survived by his children, Robert (Lisa) Ulrich, Neenah, Brenda (Gerald) Allhands, Menasha; grandchildren Brooke Ulrich, Sturgeon Bay and Gracie Schwan, Appleton, and great granddaughter, Jett Ulrich Micech, Sturgeon Bay.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, William "Bill" Ulrich, and his wife, Mae (Whitney) Ulrich.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date when all family members can be present. Thank you to all the medical personnel within the ThedaCare network who tended to Bob in recent years, along with the staff of Cherry Meadows who took care of Bob in his final days.
