Robert Edward Unwin, 73 of Rockland passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Weymouth, son of the late Donald M. and Barbara M. (Heffernan) and was raised in Rockland. He was a graduate of Rockland High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's of Science degree with a concentration in Business.

Beloved husband of Linda (Cullivan) Unwin for 44 years, deeply treasured father of Cynthia Marie Unwin of Rockland. Lovingly referred to as "Pa" and adored by his grandsons Brandon and Jacob and his granddaughter Riley. Bob is survived by his nieces Donna J. Faulkner and her husband Gregory of Rocky Hill, CT., Kathleen M. Avtges and her husband Nicholas of Bridgewater, nephews Michael S. Unwin and his wife Lynn of Plymouth and Brian T. Unwin and his wife Caitlyn of Wayland. Bob is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Bob was predeceased by his brother Donald and his wife Jean Unwin of Halifax.

Bob had been employed at AVO Cedar Fence, New England Art and Lowe's.

Bob had the most infectious laugh and cherished spending time with his family creating lasting memories visiting family in Vermont. Taking his Grandsons to Barrets Haunted House; visiting the Vietnam War Show; driving around town to view the beauty of the Christmas lights in the neighborhoods; trips to the gas station to fill up the car with some "go go juice".

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at AccentCare Hospice Center in Milton for the loving care they provided to Bob and the unwavering support in which they embraced his family.

Services will be private.
