Robert V. “Bob” Tetrick, age 66 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday morning, May 30, 2025.
Bob was born on April 24, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son to Riley Tetrick and Hellen Burdine. He is preceded in death by his parents. He was raised by his mother Hellen and stepfather Bill Garrigus.
Bob is survived by his daughter: Codee (fiance Brody Dowell) Tetrick of Lizton, Indiana.
His granddaughter: Jalynn Tetrick.
Siblings: brother Billy Garrigus of Greenwood, sister Debbie (husband Brian) Smith of Brownsburg, and sister Karen Stockwell of Indianapolis.
He is preceded in death by one sister: Sue Cronk.
Bob grew up in Indianapolis on the West side.
He attended Decatur High School, graduating in 1977.
After high school he went right into the working field and worked as a machinist.
Throughout his life he enjoyed many things including his dogs (morkies), his parrot birds, riding his motorcycle, boating and jet skis, and being at the lake. He also greatly enjoyed Nascar, basketball and all sports. If there was ever a question about sports, you could ask Bob and he would know the answer.
Bob touched many lives throughout his years and he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life Gathering in Bob’s memory will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222.
