In Loving Memory of Robert Will "Bill" Vaughn
1950 - 2025
Robert Will Vaughn, affectionately known as Bill, was born on April 12, 1950, in Denton, Texas, to Joe and Martha Vaughn. He departed this life peacefully surrounded by family on April 25, 2025 in Roanoke, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A lover of the outdoors, Bill enjoyed spending his free time fishing and golfing, passions that allowed him to create unforgettable moments with family and friends. His warmth and humor will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bill was a devoted husband to Shelia Vaughn and a proud father to three children: Robert Vaughn and his wife Marcy, Sherri and her husband Troy Gilbert, and Stetson and his wife Sydney. He found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to five grandchildren-Dylan Grimes, Tanner Gilbert, Robert Vaughn, Scarlett Snyder, and Leona Vaughn-each of whom held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Long, and her husband Eddie Long, who will miss him dearly.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Lorraine Vaughn and Joe Vaughn, as well as his siblings: Martha Stone, Ray Vaughn, Ruthie Bagley, and Donald Vaughn.
As we celebrate the life of Bill Vaughn, we remember a man who was dedicated to his family and made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. May he rest in peace.
