Robert Craig Vojtech was born on October 23, 1952, son of Marvin and Beverly (Thede) Vojtech of Traer, IA

Robert graduated from North Tama High School in 1971. After graduation, he farmed with his father, and then purchased two farms, one south and one west of Traer. He was an avid crop farmer, along with livestock in beef cattle. Robert also built a new home while he farmed.  

In 2013, he retired and had a farm auction. He began renting out his land. Robert enjoyed driving around Tama County keeping an eye on things. 

Robert belonged to St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer. He is survived by two brothers, Ronald of Traer and James of Clutier; two sisters, Patricia Arp of Hudson and Kathryn (Jamie) Allen and their daughter Brianna of Hudson and one aunt, Jeanette Van Metre of Waterloo. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; two uncles, Donald Vojtech and Peter Van Metre; one aunt, Barbara Vojtech; one cousin, Daniel Vojtech; and his grandparents, William and Luella Thede and Adolph and Vlasta Vojtech.

In accordance with his wishes, a private visitation will be held at Overton Funeral in Traer, followed by a private graveside service at St Paul Catholic Cemetery, Traer.
