Robert M. Waltsak, 60 of Lakewood, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 19, 2023, at his home. Bob was born in Red Bank and raised in Middletown. He graduated from Middletown South High School. After high school Bob worked with his uncle at Mr. Paul's Custom Cabinets. This experience led him to start his own carpentry business. Over the years Bob took on many home renovation projects and developed a strong work ethic. He always made time to help his family and friends. He was always fixing, building, or re-purposing. Bob loved the outdoors and especially deer hunting. He prided himself as an amateur "Chef", he loved sharing photos of his culinary creations with his loved ones. Bob was proud to say he grew up in "Sunken City." His fun-loving nature, dry sense of humor, even his sometimes-ornery ways will be deeply missed.
Bob was predeceased by his parents William and Dorothy Waltsak, and a brother Stephan "Stu" Waltsak. He is survived by his beloved siblings William Waltsak, Marianne Waltsak, Richard Waltsak, Cecilia Gorsegner and her husband Frederick, Theresa Waltsak, and Margaret Wicks. Bob was the loving uncle to Brian, Colleen, Kevin, and Matthew, and the cherished great uncle to Dorothy and Carter.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday January 23, 2023, from 4-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736, with a funeral service to begin at 6:30 pm.
