For Our Dad
Dad,
Our hearts ache in ways words can't hold, but your love is the story we will carry forever. You worked so hard to give us more than enough, teaching us by your strength, sacrifices, and quite care.
Melissa, Tracy, Jessica and Cody - we are pieces of you, living echoes of your heart.
We'll never forget how much you loved us, how you tried to tell us in every way you knew. When the ache of missing you feels too heavy, we'll look to the stars, because we know your light is still shining. A father's love can not be dimmed by distance.
You gave us roots, you gave us wings, you gave us love that time can not take away.
Though we walk this road without your hand to guide us, we walk with your spirit. Forever our dad. Forever our home.
