Robert E. White, Jr. born in Beaumont, Texas, on June 17, 1939, Bob White brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. On October 23, 2024, he peacefully concluded a life of love and service.
Bob attended St. Louis University on a tennis scholarship, where he also completed medical school. Moving to Phoenix in 1970 with his beloved wife of 58 years, Paula, he dedicated 30 years to orthopedic surgery, earning a reputation as a compassionate healer.
He leaves behind his wife, Paula; his children, Lisa Bullington (Steve), Paul White (Kimmie), Rachel Rosztoczy (Rob), and Michael White (Sarah); and 14 beloved grandchildren: Kate, Paul, Jane, Tommy, Lucy, Katrina, Camilla, Jimmy, Anna, Paula, Danny, Lea, Luke, and Jack. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Hearin (Dick).
Known for his easy smile, warm laugh, and competitive spirit on the tennis court and golf course, Bob shared his joy for life freely. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral Mass will be held at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Arizona.
