Robert "Bob" Widman

It is with heavy hearts that we are sharing the passing of Robert Widman (Bob) from his earthly home to his heavenly home on January 6, 2025 at the age of 63. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Bob was proceeded in death by Charles and Shirley Traynor and his beloved grandmother Edith Widman. Bob is survived by his wife Debora of 43 years, his son Eric Jarvis, brother and sisters - Susan and Mark Bittenbender, Florence Herb, Richard and Christine Traynor, Tim Traynor, John and Irene Traynor. He will be missed as well by his numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was always quick to help anyone whether a friend or someone he just met. He was an enthusiastic lacrosse sports fan and coached high school lacrosse teams for many years. He was also a Captain with the Mississippi State Marshall unit of the MBI. Bob had an inner strength and faith that was evident in his daily life which helped him get through some of the more painful aspects of his health and life. He will be truly missed.
