Robert passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 10th, 2025 at age 89.

A devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, he served his country with honor, integrity, and unwavering patriotism.

Born, October, 15th, 1935 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Elizabeth Wilde, Robert is the brother of the late Frank Wilde and the late Helen Mann.

Husband of 67 years to Sharon Snell Wilde, Father to, Scott Wilde, Kim (Jim) Gobbetti, Tim Wilde, Jeff Wilde, the late Amy Palmeri, and Rob (Taryn) Wilde; Twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Robert was a proud United States Air Force Veteran serving as TSGT for 23 years as a Fuel Specialist as well as providing service to the 107th hangar.

Robert was also a member of the Elks lodge 1478, and the Lancaster American Legion Post.

Throughout his life, he was a role model of hard work, selflessness, and steadfast dedication, guiding those he loved with wisdom and compassion. Respected by all who knew him, he will be remembered for his kind heart, strong values, and the lasting legacy of love and devotion he leaves behind.

Family and friends are welcome to honor Robert, by attending his visitation, Sunday August 17th, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 5090 Transit Rd. in Depew, Military Honors will follow the visitation at 3pm.
