Bob was born on January 29, 1976, to Robert and Bonnie (Orwig) Wuebker in Pocahontas, Iowa. He was raised on the family farm in Ayrshire, IA, and later moved to Emmetsburg, IA, where he attended Emmetsburg High School, graduating with the class of 1994.
Following high school, he went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Loras College. While at Loras, he played football all four years and developed many life-long friendships through being a Duhawk.
After graduation, Bob started working at Cottingham and Butler, where he has now been for over 26 years. Throughout his career, Bob was able to develop many strong relationships and became a very well respected expert in his field.
While living in Dubuque, Bob met the love of his life, Heather. The two were united in marriage on May 4, 2002. They were later blessed with three beautiful girls – Abby, Brooke, and Kayla – who were Bob's pride and joy.
Bob was very active in his girls' activities, whether it was coaching, volunteering, or cheering them on from the stands. He loved watching them compete in any sport.
In his free time, he enjoyed skiing, golfing, and being an avid sports fan. One of his favorite things to do was traveling to new places with the family. In particular, his favorite was either to go to St. Louis to watch the Cardinals or to South Bend to cheer on the Fighting Irish.
He was very active at St. Columbkille parish, serving as an usher and on the parish council. He was also a DASH board member for many years.
Bob is survived by his wife, Heather; children, Abby, Brooke, and Kayla Wuebker all of Dubuque; his mother, Bonnie Wuebker of Emmetsburg, IA; siblings, Kevin Wuebker, Wayne (Karen) Wuebker, Jenean (Doug) Bowerman, Dan (Jill) Wuebker, Theresa (Terry) Luden, Judy (Doug) Hansen, and Maria (Randy) Vogl; mother-in-law, Kathy Holland; in-laws, Mark (Deb) Holland, and Kristie (Max) Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; father-in-law, Larry Holland; nephews, Josh Wuebker and Jared Wuebker; niece, Nicole Bowerman; sister-in-law, Roxanne Wuebker; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
