In his later years he moved to Elkhorn Meadows. Robert was diagnosed with cancer several years ago and eventually moved to the Good Samaritan Center where he resided until he passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 85.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, son Steve and baby son.
Robert is survived by his daughter Denise Buoy, Grandson Justin Rasmussen and three great granddaughters. He is also survived by his sister Maxine Neibauer and many nieces and nephews.
