Roberta passed away peacefully in Daly City, California, on July 12, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in San Francisco to Lila Griffith and Jose G. Sinio, Roberta was one of six siblings: Florence, Eleanor, Norma, Joseph, and Jimmy. She was a proud graduate of Mission High School and spent most of her life in San Francisco, and spent some time in Daly City.

Roberta was known for her unwavering work ethic and quiet strength. She dedicated over 30 years to Bank of America and more than 15 years to Patelco Credit Union. After retiring in 2007, she generously gave her time as a volunteer at Seton Hospital and the local community center, always willing to lend a hand without expecting anything in return.

She found joy in simple pleasures-especially shopping-and in the company of her family, whom she loved dearly. Roberta was the beloved wife of Ricardo Altamirano, and proud mother of four children: Richard, Paul, Frank, and Lisa. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren-Yanira, Cristina, Elisa, Raquel, Mariano, Dominic, Diamond, Saphire, Paul Jr., and Emiliano-her great-grandchildren Desmond, Aricela, Jasmine, and Gia, and her great great granddaughter Veisinia.

Roberta's life was defined by kindness, resilience, and quiet generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with her wishes, services will be private.
