Roberta Nicholson Huffstickler, 92, of Bessemer City passed away peacefully on October 5, 2022 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain. She was born on July 12, 1930 to the late Sylvester and Sarah Nicholson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Huffstickler; her children, Allen, Gary and Kathy Huffstickler; a grandson, Travis; and seven siblings. Roberta was a member of United Baptist Church in Gastonia. She loved the Lord and her church. She enjoyed speding time baking cakes, fishing, and traveling.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Bandy; brother, Hughlon Nicholson; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at United Baptist Church, 1970 Lowell-Bethesda Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056, with Rev. Ray Pennell officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Baptist Church, 1970 Lowell-Bethesda Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056.
