Roberta “Bobbi” Jean Kayser, age 67, of Union, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025. She was born on June 12, 1958, in Ashland, Kentucky, to Gary Layne and Judy (Katzenberger) Layne.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Layne; mother, Judy Katzenberger; husband, David Rhoades Brown; son, Gus Kayser; and brother, Mitch Layne.
Roberta is survived by her sons, Wolfgang Kayser and Ivan Kayser; her beloved grandchildren, Atticus Kayser and Benny Kayser; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.
Bobbi had a love for Rabbit Hash, music and her art. She proudly served as president of the Rabbit Hash Historical Society for a period, where she shared her passion for community and preservation and over the years provided artwork for many events in town.
