Roberta "Bobbie" Lee Nicolau
October 23, 1946 – October 6, 2025
Roberta "Bobbie" Lee Nicolau ,78, a profoundly devoted mother, grandmother, and beautiful soul, entered into eternal rest on October 6, 2025.
Bobbie was the dedicated wife of the late Edward "Nick" Nicolau, who served as the Property Manager for Riverside Village in Leominster, MA, for over 33 years. Bobbie worked tirelessly alongside him, often painting and cleaning apartments in record time before they were rented. This afforded her the perfect opportunity to make a good income while always prioritizing her family, ensuring she was home to have dinner on the table promptly at 5 PM. Her greatest joy was supporting her daughters and doting on her grandsons. She was a selfless woman who loved to give and help anyone in need.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nick, her sisters Linda Dunkberger, Cheri Moorman, and Margie Taylor, her brothers Butchie, Sonny, Gary, and Danny Michael, and her parents, Georgene and Aubrey Casteel.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and Andrew Marshall, and Christine Bellville; her grandsons Craig Heinzelman (wife Monique and great-granddaughter Zoey), Seth Marshall, Matthew Morin, and Sean Bellville; her sister Wanda Skelly of Chandler, AZ; and her brother Donny Michael of Nashville, TN, and her best friend of 43 years, Joana Dovidio of Leominster, MA; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A public visitation will be held for Bobbie on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205 with a celebration of life to begin at 12:00 PM.
