Roberta A. "Bobbie" Richardson

Roberta "Bobbie" A. Richardson, 68, of Rockford, passed away on March 29, 2026. She was born on June 14, 1957 in Rockford, the daughter of Robert and Pauline Richardson. She graduated from Harlem High School in 1975. She enjoyed sports and was a member of the Loves Park Cougars girls baseball team. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it. She spent most of her adult life as a volunteer for our military vets and was a lifetime member of the VFW in Rockford.

Sleep in peace with the Lord. My sister you will be missed beyond measure.

Survivors include her sister, Peggy; brother, Ken (Ramona); aunt, Ruth Crenshaw; niece, Melissa Opperman; nephews, Elliot Rieff and Brian (Autumn) Turner; and a host of other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Lee; and brother-in-law, Bob Turner.

Memorial service will be at 2:00pm with a memorial visitation from 1:00pm until the time of the service on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.
