Roberta Murr Stalter of Verga, NJ passed away at the age of 83 in Mullica Hill, NJ surrounded by her family.

Roberta was born on July 10th, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to Robert Murr and Merlin Murr (Delk). She was the second to youngest of four children. Her siblings, Barbara (aka Babs), Carol, and Jimmy preceded her in death. She was extremely close with all her siblings and many of her best memories were associated with them.

On August 26th, 1961 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Robert Stalter (deceased). They were the perfect match and were completely inseparable. Together they had two sons, Kenny (predeceased, Jeanine, former daughter in law Dori) and Jesse (Angela.)

She was the grandmother to Aja (Jimmy), Blane, Breena, Jacob, and Jessica; and great-grandmother to Riley, Alayna, and Katrina.

She was a substitute teacher for National Park elementary school for 30 years. She was loved in the school by all the staff and students.

Roberta loved to read and write poetry, watch her evening shows, play freecell on her computer, take the boat on trips with her husband on the C&D canal, talk on the phone with her nieces Kim and Carol, and spend time with her loved ones. Roberta was known by everyone to have a heart of gold and was a pillar of strength in her family. One of her favorite quotes that she loved to attach to any letter or email was "In the end, nothing we do or say in this lifetime will matter as much as the way we have loved one another."

Per Roberta's wishes, her immediate family will spread her and her husband's ashes in the C&D canal. In lieu of flowers Roberta would prefer you donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tunnels to Towers, and Wounded Warrior Project.
