Mr. Roberto R. Dominguez, a cherished patriarch, devout Christian, and dedicated family man, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at the age of 96 in El Paso, Texas. Born on December 11, 1929, in Mexico, Roberto's life was a testament to his resilience, hard work, and unwavering faith.
Roberto's journey began under modest circumstances, and he quickly learned the value of diligence and responsibility. After the loss of his father, Cecilio Dominguez, he became the head of the household, working in agriculture to support his family. His strong work ethic followed him throughout his life, leading to various roles in construction, ranching, and maintenance, where he was respected and admired by his peers.
On July 19, 1975, Roberto married the love of his life, Eulalia Bustamante, in El Mulato. Their union was a beautiful example of love and partnership, and they were blessed with forty-nine years of marriage. Together, they built a life full of joy, challenges, and triumphs, always guided by their shared Christian faith.
Roberto's devotion to his family was unparalleled. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Carlos Dominguez and his wife Jocelyn, and Roberto Dominguez, Jr. His sister Aurora Morales, his adoring grandchildren Nikolas, Donilyssa, Sarah, Elizabeth, Carlos Jr., Ithzayana, Ithzel, Ivan, and Iliana, and great-grandchildren Lily, Ibbie, and Idaly, will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
In retirement, Roberto found pleasure in the simple things. He enjoyed the quiet challenge of puzzles, the intellectual stimulation of crosswords, and the comfort of his favorite television shows. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them, often indulging in his favorite treats, cookies, and Coke Zero.
Roberto is now reunited with those who predeceased him, including his beloved parents, Cecilio Dominguez and Maria De Jesus Rubio, his wife Eulalia Bustamante Dominguez, his brothers Guadalupe and Ruben Dominguez, and his sisters Corina Dominguez, Emma Sanchez, Ramona Armendariz, Elvira Carrasco, and Hortencia Jimenez.
A man of devout Christian beliefs, Roberto's faith was the compass by which he navigated the world. It was this faith that carried him through life's most difficult moments and gave him hope for the journey beyond.
