Robin Kathryn Burton

Robin K. Burton, 57 of South Bend, formerly of Niles, passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital after
a lifelong battle with illness.
Robin was born on May 12, 1965 in Niles to James Lepel and Maureen O'Moore.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Maureen, her infant son, William Michael James Burton and
brother Jose Pagan.
In 1990 she married William Lee Burton, Sr. who survives.
Robin is also survived by her Son William Burton Jr. of South Bend, Daughter Raquel (Shanon) Buari of
Granger, Step Daughters Sabrena Beard and Brandy Burton, grandchildren: James, Reign, Rylan, Shanon,
Jr., Brothers Michael (Dawn) Ford of Niles and Bud (Carmen) Ford of Germany, Sister Andrea Pagan of
Niles, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and other extended family and
beloved friends.
Robin had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church on Auten Rd. She was an avid reader who
enjoyed craft making, art, drawing and painting. Robin loved nature and loved to enjoy a good book and
music outdoors along with gardening. She treasured the time she had with her children and
grandchildren. The children and grandchildren always knew that she was there for them. Robin put her
family first and never missed a sporting event or any other activity involving her grandchildren.
Visitation for Robin will be held on Friday, December 16 from 10am to 12 noon at Halbritter Wickens
Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. Niles. A Funeral Service will begin at Noon in the Funeral Home. Burial
will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery.
