MS. ROBIN MARIE JACKSON, age 64, passed away on March 11, 2025, in Waycross, Georgia. She was born on Tuesday, November 22, 1960, in Washington, Georgia. Robin lived a life full of adventure, love, and generosity.
Robin's career was as dynamic as her spirit. She began as a seamstress, working at various sewing plants before transitioning into hairdressing alongside her brother. However, it was the open road that truly captured her heart. As a pilot car driver for 25 years, she found joy in traveling across the country, especially cherishing the breathtaking landscapes of the West. Driving was more than just a job for Robin-it was her passion.
Beyond her work, Robin had a deep love for her family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Martha Jackson; daughters Tiffany & Tyrone Burnett and Jamie & Justin Simmons; six grandchildren, Mark, Collin, Wyatt, Jax, Cash and Chapel; five great-grandchildren, Tyreon, Nizee, Yun, King and Tylan. She also leaves behind her siblings, Billy & Angela Jackson and Danny Jackson; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends, and an extended truck driver family who shared in her love for the road. She was preceded in death by her father Robert "Bobby" Jackson and cousin Ca$h Colvin.
Robin had a generous heart and loved shopping for those she cared about. Whether it was finding the perfect gift or spoiling her beloved "babies", she delighted in bringing joy to others. She also had a passion for planting flowers-adding beauty wherever she went.
Robin's adventurous spirit and boundless generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
