Robin L. Porch

Robin L. Porch, 61, of Port Royal and formerly of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on March 13, 1964, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Linda (Stringer) Deavor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Sunderland. Robin is survived by her children, Jamie Heidler and Christopher Porch, both of Port Royal; and by her siblings: Debby Renninger and husband Rusty of McVeytown, Brenda Bitner of Lewistown, Donna Heidler and husband Gene of Lewistown, Michael Deavor, and Mark Darerow and wife Nan, of McVeytown. She dedicated her career to caring for others, most recently, working as a compassionate caregiver with Angels On Call. A woman of faith, Robin attended Old Fashioned Baptist Church and found joy in the simple pleasures of life-camping, kayaking, and spending time with her family and friends. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.
