Edgar W. Porch

Edgar W. Porch, 84, of Lewistown, passed away on January 20, 2025, at Greenwood Village Nursing Home. Born on April 18, 1940, in Granville, Edgar was the cherished son of the late Glenn and Della (Weaver) Porch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Grace Harris, and his brother, Claire Porch. Edgar is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy (Rhoades) Porch, and his loving stepchildren: David Koch and his wife, Trina, of Lewistown; Michael Koch and his late wife Kathy; and Nicole Henry of Hanover. He was a proud grandfather to David Bender and his wife, Chelsea, Andrea Alcalde and husband Diego, and Jesie Crouse and her husband, Justin, and a beloved great-grandfather to Liam and Everly Bender, and Chase and Ben Alcalde. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Porch, and his wife, Doris, of Bradford. Edgar dedicated 20 years of service to his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard. In his later years, he worked as a manager at Your Building Center in Lewistown. An avid outdoorsman, Edgar found great joy in hunting and fishing, and he especially cherished watching his great-grandson Liam play baseball.
