Robin Lynn Simonson, age 67 of Monroe, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 in her home.
Born August 1, 1957 in St. Clair, MI, Robin was the daughter of the late Eugene and Patricia (Ainsworth) Wooliever. She graduated from Monroe High School in1975 and attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette.
On January 27, 2001, Robin married Mark D. Simonson at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Monroe. She was employed by Computer Alliance/i3 Business Solutions as an Administrative Assistant for over 28 years, retiring on December 31, 2023.
Robin was a current member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the International Order of Rainbow Girls, and Monroe County Fair "Fair Maidens".
Robin is survived by her husband Mark; three step-children, Nathan (Jennifer) Simonson of Pensacola, FL, Nicole Simonson of Commerce Township, MI, and Allie (Eric) Conti of Hudsonville, MI; sister, Susan (Dale) Lockwood of Monroe; brother-in-law, Michael (Susan) Keefe of Monroe; three grandchildren, Annabelle Simonson, Josie Obeid, and Camden Conti; nephews, Nicolas and Nathan DeLisle; and niece, Rachel Keefe.
In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel F. Wooliever, and a sister, Laurinda L. "Laurie" Keefe.
Robin will lie in state Friday, Aug. 16th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. The church pastor, Rev. Rey Mondragon will officiate followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests supporting their church or the Humane Society of Monroe County.
